SIX NATIONS 2018 RUGBY HOSPITALITY

500 days to go, be prepared

May 8, 2018 officially marks 500 days to go until the start of Rugby World Cup 2019. Preparation for the tournament is well underway and with only two teams left to be confirmed, the battle for qualification is entering it’s final stages.

The Asia Rugby Championship in Malaysia kicked off with Korea beating the hosts 35-10, before Hong Kong comfortably defeated Malaysia with a scoreline of 67-8 in what was their first appearance at the event. The champion of the Asia competition will face the Cook Islands in a home and away playoff with the winner joining Canada in the four-team global repecharge tournament in November.

With Japan automatically qualifying for next year’s tournament and not taking part in the Asia Rugby Championship, Hong Kong are favourites to win the title and therefore progress to the next stage, and with their huge win over Malaysia it’s easy to see why.

For the other final spot, the play-off winner place in Pool A, Spain will face Portugal for the right to play Samoa in a home and away fixture that will decide which team lines up in Japan in 2019.

Fans and businesses alike have already confirmed their places at this historic event with the official hospitality programme, with demand for hospitality packages exceptionally high. The most popular package, the Webb Ellis Suites, have now sold out and spaces at the purpose-built, flagship hospitality venue near the International Stadium Yokohama, The Webb Ellis Pavilion, are extremely limited.

All hospitality packages for Rugby World Cup 2019 feature the best available seats, pre and post-match hospitality, unique entertainment and celebrity guest speakers, with an exceptional experience combining a blend of western influences and traditional Japanese ‘omotenashi’.
