Anthony Watson on Rugby World Cup 2019
Anthony Watson is one of the first names on the England team sheet under head coach Eddie Jones and recent stand out star of the 2017 British & Irish Lions squad. At just 23 years old, Watson has already made 28 appearances for England and since 2015 he is the world’s highest try scorer in international test rugby.
Taking a break from training, Watson joined us at our latest STH Live Business Breakfast to celebrate two years to go until Rugby World Cup 2019.
Following our panel discussion with Ben Kay MBE, we caught up with Watson to find out what he thinks the first Rugby World Cup to be held in Asia will be like, what makes the tournament so special and what he thinks of England’s chances. Watch our video to hear his thoughts now.
