Australia’s success in the 50 over game (winning the ICC Cricket World Cup in 1987, 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2015) has not progressed to the shorter version, with Australia’s best performance coming as runner-ups in 2010. But with the first ICC T20 World Cup to be hosted in Australia, 2020 could be Australia’s year.
