IAAF World Championships Exclusive Hospitality: Muller Anniversary Games 2016 – Event

STH Live hosted 180 VIP clients and guests on Friday the 22nd July 2016 at the Muller Anniversary Games in partnership with UK Athletics. The event took place at the Stadium at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and featured some of the biggest names in world athletics.

VIP Hospitality was hosted on the home straight where guests had a perfect view of Usain Bolt comfortably  winning a challenging 200 metres final after two false starts and one disqualification. Running for the first time since suffering an injury, Bolt finished in 19.89 seconds. In a momentous race Kendra Harrison broke a 28-year-old world record in the women’s 100 metres hurdles final, and Renaud Lavillenie easily won the pole vault.

Guest speakers John Inverdale and Triple Jump World Record holder Jonathan Edwards provided insight into the event as well as commentary on the importance of the World Championships taking place next year in London.

For STH Live the event was an opportunity to demonstrate the state of the art hospitality facilities that have been constructed at the Stadium. Clients and guests who are considering purchasing packages for the IAAF World Athletics and Para Athletics in 2017 were able to experience the unique buzz and atmosphere of the former Olympic Stadium.

STH Live has been appointed exclusive hospitality provider for both the IAAF World Championships and Para Athletic Championships with hospitality hosted within the stadium. Packages are due to go on sale at the end of August, but early expressions of interest have been received with the event due to sell out. Packages are set to start at £195 per person with a seat at the 100m Men’s Final available from £333 per person.
