Revisit the biggest sporting event of 2017 with our exclusive behind-the-scenes tour

The IAAF World Championships was held in London for the first time at the home of the London 2012 Olympic Games, the London Stadium, in the Queen Elizabeth Park.

The record-breaking competition, which was the 16th in the event’s 34-year history, saw the world’s most high-profile athletes compete, including Usain Bolt and Sir Mo Farah. Fans saw eight-time Olympic gold medalist Bolt take to the track for the last time, as he announced his retirement following his final event of the championships, the 4x100m relay.

STH Live was the exclusive hospitality provider for the championships. Corporate hospitality guests could choose from a selection of four experiences to suit their requirements, from an informal setting to fine dining, before watching all the sporting action from perfectly located seats.

The first 100 guests to purchase the Diamond package were taken on an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour before hospitality opened. This sneak peak access was hosted by well-known athletics stars, including Greg Rutherford and Jason Gardener, who gave unique insights into the competition areas. For the first time ever guests were allowed to see the athletes’ final call area, walk the famous 100m straight and have their photo taken on the medal winners’ podium, the scene of countless historic moments during London 2012.
